Touch-Ups
Every tattoo heals differently, and sometimes a small area may heal lighter or lose a little ink during the healing process. This is completely normal and does not necessarily mean anything went wrong.
Free Touch-Ups
I offer one complimentary touch-up within 2 months after your final tattoo session, when needed due to normal healing.
Please allow the tattoo to fully heal before assessing it — usually around 6–8 weeks. If you think your tattoo needs a touch-up, simply send me clear photos in natural daylight and I’ll have a look.
The free touch-up is intended for small areas that need correcting or re-saturating, while keeping the original design unchanged.
When a Touch-Up Is Not Free
Touch-ups are not complimentary when:
● The tattoo has been significantly affected by incorrect aftercare, picking, scratching or excessive sun exposure.
● You want to change the original design, colour, size or placement.
● You want to add new elements or extend the tattoo.
● You are looking to refresh an older tattoo after the complimentary touch-up period.
● A larger amount of reworking is needed rather than a small healing correction.
In these cases, the work will be quoted as a new or paid touch-up session.
Certain areas such as hands, fingers, feet and other high-friction areas can naturally lose pigment faster and may require more frequent maintenance. For these placements, free touch-ups may not apply.
A touch-up is there to help your tattoo heal beautifully — it is not a guarantee that a tattoo will remain unchanged forever. Skin, sun exposure, placement and time will naturally affect how a tattoo looks.
